Introduction

These aviation themed clocks make an excellent addition to your web site. Besides looking great and realistic, they provide valuable information such as local and UTC (GMT/Zulu) time.

  24 hr Flash clock with UTC as main time 12 hr Flash clock with Local as main time 12 hr Flash clock with local time
    24 hr clock; UTC time (main)   12 hr clock with chronometer   12 hr clock showing local time

These clocks also can be customized to many different styles and color themes. There are hundreds of combinations.

Adding the clock to your web page

Requirements

1 - You must be able to save a file in your web site in the same folder as your web page.
2 - Have some basic knowledge of html.
3 - You will need to install the Ruffle Flash emulator in your site's server in order to implement this app, since Adobe Flash has been discontinued. Visit the Ruffle website for more information -- implementation is relatively simple.

Step 1
Please view the license agreement. If you agree, proceed to the next step.

Step 2
Download the Clock6sPackage.zip file. It contains the Clock6sEXT.swf (226 x 225 pixel) and Clock6xsEXT.swf (176 x 176 pixel) file. Choose the one you like and place it in the same folder as your web page. This one file can produce many different clocks (discussed in more detail in step 4).

Step 3 - 226 x 225 pixel clock (uses the Clock6s.swf file)
If you choose this size clock, copy and paste the green code below between the <body> and </body> tags of your page in a location that you would like the clock to appear. The clock requires an area of at least 226 x 225 pixels.

<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=9,0,28,0" width="226" height="225">
<param name="movie" value="Clock6sEXT.swf?LMcolorScheme=1&LMlayoutStyle=1&LMshowInstFrame=true&LM24hr=false&LMmainTimeUTC=false&LMswapMonthDay=false" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
<embed src="Clock6sEXT.swf?LMcolorScheme=1&LMlayoutStyle=1&LMshowInstFrame=true&LM24hr=false&LMmainTimeUTC=false&LMswapMonthDay=false" quality="high" wmode="transparent" pluginspage="http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="226" height="225"></embed>
</object>

Step 3 - 176 x 176 pixel clock (uses the Clock6xs.swf file)
If you choose this size clock, copy and paste the green code below between the <body> and </body> tags of your page in a location that you would like the clock to appear. The clock requires an area of at least 176 x 176 pixels.

<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=9,0,28,0" width="176" height="176">
<param name="movie" value="Clock6xsEXT.swf?LMcolorScheme=1&LMlayoutStyle=1&LMshowInstFrame=true&LM24hr=false&LMmainTimeUTC=false&LMswapMonthDay=false" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
<embed src="Clock6xsEXT.swf?LMcolorScheme=1&LMlayoutStyle=1&LMshowInstFrame=true&LM24hr=false&LMmainTimeUTC=false&LMswapMonthDay=false" quality="high" wmode="transparent" pluginspage="http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="176" height="176"></embed>
</object>

Step 4
You can customize your clock by changing the green code in bold above once you pasted it in your page. Notice that there are TWO places where the code must be identical. This is very important so that it will work on different browsers. Below are the functions for each code.
