First of all, thank you for using my website. I hope it is of use to you. I decided to put it together for several reasons. First, I was frustrated with my electronic E6B and never found a website or a calculator that had all the functions I needed. In the end I had to use multiple sites and different devices to perform such calculations. Second, I could not find the inverse of many aviations functions and if I had to ask myself a simple question such as: at what temperature the density altitude would be 4000ft? I simply couldn't. Second, it took too long and the units that could be used were very limited. Third, I figured I had enough time and the minimum knowledge necessary for the task. Last but the most important reason is that I really enjoy aviation and I thought this would be fun. This is going to be the first version of the site and I anticipate revising it and adding more functions soon.

In addition to the E6B claculations there are other aviation related educational materials such as the Flash based navigation instrument simulators. Flash is very powerful and I anticipate lots of new additions soon.

About myself (in case you really want to know): I was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and I currently live in the U.S.A. I discovered that aviation is my passion back in 1998 when I got my private pilot airplane license in Brazil. Since then I moved to the U.S. and have been working on getting several licenses. After eating lots of Quaker oats to save money on food, I earned a commercial license in both airplanes (single and multi-engine) and helicopters. My cholesterol is also much lower (an unexpected benefit). I also hold CFI certificates for airplane and helicopter, as well as CFII and MEI certificates for airplane. So far this is a hobby, but my goal is to eventually turn it into a profession as I am able to gain more experience. I hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration. I think this is enough about me. Have I mentioned that I don't like to write?
