HELP - Altimetry: Pressure Altitude

Problem B: (Estimated time of completion 3 seconds*)
    Given: Temperature = 0 oC
Find: Geometric Altitude, Speed of Sound and Acceleration of Gravity

  1. Place cursor in front of the number in the row for Temperature and
in the Celsius box since our given value is in Celsius. Highlight the
      number in that box.

  2. Type in the desired value (in this case 0). Notice that the boxes
with Kelvin and Fahrenheit in the Temperature row have
changed and have the converted value of 0 oC in these units.

  3. You are done! Just read the desired results from the corresponding rows.
     In this case we wanted
Geometric Altitude, Speed of Sound and Acceleration
     of Gravity
. The Geometric Altitude is 2308.5 m, 7573.9 ft, or 1.4345 sm.
The Speed of Sound is 331.319
m/s, 1087.0 ft/s, or 644.032 Kts. The
     Acceleration of Gravity is 9.7995
m2/s, 32.151 ft2/s.

Important: There are times when a problem may have multiple solutions. For example there are two
altitudes in which the temperature is -2.5 oC. At 8,836.7 ft and 168,676.1 ft, yet if you input - 2.5 oC
on the Temperature row you will always get the solution that lies at the lowest altitude, that is,
8,836.7 ft. This is always true for all other properties that have multiple solutions.

Note that it does not matter the order that you enter the rows. The remaining row (field) will
be calculated based on the values of the other two rows when the Eval button of that row is pressed.
